Mystery shopping & mystery audits
See what your customers see.
Trained auditors walk into your branches, dealerships and stores as ordinary customers, and tell you what actually happened: was KYC followed, was the bill issued, was the product genuine, was the customer treated right. Every finding comes with evidence, and you watch it all on a live dashboard.

01 · THE BLIND SPOT
Your dashboards show what was recorded.
Not what happened.
The counter is not the boardroom
Policies are written at head office and lived at a counter six hundred kilometres away. What happens there is mostly hearsay until someone goes and looks.
Internal audit is announced
Staff know when an auditor is in the building. A mystery auditor is just another customer, so you see an ordinary Tuesday, not a rehearsed one.
Complaints arrive late
By the time a pattern shows up in complaints or a regulator's letter, it has been happening for months. Most customers never complain. They leave.
Leakage leaves no record
A sale without a bill, a favour asked to speed things up, a non-genuine product on the shelf. None of these show up in any report your systems produce.
02 · WHAT WE LOOK AT
Three lenses. One visit.
A single scenario can test service, compliance and integrity together. You decide the mix, and which checks are non-negotiable.
Is the brand promise kept at every location, by every shift?
- Greeting, wait time and staff conduct
- Needs discovery and product knowledge
- Ambience, hygiene and infrastructure
- Follow-up after the visit
Would this interaction survive a regulator's own incognito visit?
- KYC and onboarding controls
- Suitability, disclosures and consent
- Mis-selling and forced bundling
- Grievance display and handling
Is what's sold under your name genuine, billed and priced right?
- Test purchases with sealed, logged samples
- Packaging, batch code and label checks
- Billing integrity and no-bill sales
- Signals of diversion in the channel
03 · WHY IT PAYS
What the business gets out of it
01
Find it before the regulator does
Regulators run incognito visits of their own. A programme of your own means the first person to find a KYC shortcut or a mis-sold product is you, with time to fix it.
02
Protect revenue that walks out quietly
Unbilled sales, overcharging and non-genuine stock cost money and never raise an alert. Test purchases put a number and a location on them.
03
Make standards stick
People repeat what gets checked. Regular, unannounced visits turn a policy document into a habit, and the score trend shows whether it's holding.
04
Coach with specifics, not slogans
Every finding is a yes or no against a check you helped write, tied to an outlet and a date. Regional managers know exactly what to fix and where.
05
Evidence you can act on
Photos, recordings and receipts are hashed at intake and kept with a custody trail, so a finding can support a disciplinary, contractual or legal step if it needs to.
06
Close the loop
A finding isn't finished when it's reported. Re-visits confirm whether the fix held, and the outlet's history shows what was fixed, what slipped and what never moved.
Regulators already shop
Mystery shopping is a supervisory tool, not just a marketing one. If a regulator can walk in unannounced, the first visit should be yours.

HKMA press release, 2022 ↗04 · HOW IT WORKS
From a risk to a fixed outlet, in five moves
- 1
Scope the risk
We start from what could hurt you: a regulation, a leakage point, a brand standard. That decides which outlets, which scenarios and how often.
- 2
Write the checklist together
Plain yes-or-no checks, weighted by section. You choose the non-negotiables: the ones where a single miss fails the visit.
- 3
Visit like a customer
Auditors matched to the customer profile and language, drawn from our on-ground network across India, and rotated so faces don't become familiar.
- 4
Check it twice
Two levels of quality check on every submission, against geo-tags, timestamps and the evidence itself, before anything reaches you.
- 5
Report, flag, re-visit
Serious findings reach you within a day as red flags. Full reports follow inside the agreed turnaround, and re-visits confirm the fix.

No waiting for a quarterly deck. Hover the map below, or open the full dashboard on a sample client and click around.

Delays with reasons
Every audit carries its turnaround clock. If one runs late you see why, and who it sits with.
Red flags in a day
Non-negotiable failures reach you ahead of the report, with an acknowledge button.

07 · DONE PROPERLY
Covert work needs rules
A mystery audit run carelessly creates risk of its own. These are the ones we hold ourselves to.
Auditors stay anonymous
You never see who visited or the exact time. That protects the auditor and keeps the programme repeatable.
Real scenarios, no entrapment
Auditors behave as an ordinary customer would. They don't induce staff to do something they wouldn't otherwise do.
Built to fix processes
Findings point at controls and training first. We recommend corroboration before any action against an individual.
Data handled with care
Recordings and personal data are kept to what the audit needs, access-controlled, and retained only as long as agreed.
08 · QUESTIONS
Asked before every pilot
Will our staff know they are being audited?
They will know a programme exists, because we recommend you tell them. They won't know when, where or who. That is what keeps the picture honest, and it is also fairer to staff.
How many visits do we need?
It depends on the risk and the network. Most programmes start with a pilot across a sample of locations, then move to waves: the full network or a risk-weighted sample, every month or quarter.
How quickly do we see results?
Red flags reach you within a day of quality check. Each report follows inside the turnaround agreed for your programme, and the dashboard shows where every audit stands in between. If one runs late, you see why.
Do you record the interaction?
Where the scenario and your policies allow it, yes. Audio or video removes reliance on memory and makes a finding far harder to dispute. We agree recording rules with you before fieldwork starts.
What happens when something serious turns up?
You are told straight away. If the finding needs confirming, we propose a re-visit by a different auditor or a further procedure such as an authenticity test. Anything billable waits for your approval.
Is this market research?
No. Market research measures opinion. A mystery audit checks whether specific controls and standards were followed on a specific visit, and keeps the evidence.
